First off! Hope you are having a blessed Holy week. Tonight I will be singing at our Living Stations of The Cross presentation at St. Stephen the Martyr Church in Renton at 8:00 pm. It is a wonderful recreation of the Passion of Christ , Stations of the Cross, put on by our teens. It is one of the most moving events of our Church calender year and is a wonderful event for the entire family to attend. It will get you in the right mindset for the upcoming Easter weekend. If you plan on attending please get there early as the church is always packed for this event.

My last update was back on 4-7-11 and since that time Stefano Langone went from being in the top 9 on American Idol to being eliminated last night from the 7th position. WOWOW! What a run he had. The kid is a scrapper! Not only did he come back from a horrific accident in which he came close to losing his life, but he was almost eliminated at position #13 but came back in the wild card round with an amazing performance and made it to #7. No need to feel sorry for this young man. He has some incredible opportunities ahead of him in the entertainment industry. We will undoubtedly see a lot more of him in the future. His father Ernie as you probably know by now, is one of my closest friends and has been for quite some time. I wrote about him in my bio section almost 6 years ago when I first started this website. He is an immensely talented man  as well and has had a huge influence on Stefano’s success. I won’t be surprised if this snowballs and we start hearing big things coming from ernie as well. He is not only an extremely talented vocalist/instrumentalist, but a song writer/composer too. I wish the whole Langone family only the best and may the blessings continue to flow on them.  I have been blessed just to have known them all these years!

Well I have been busy and playing some new venues around the South Sound Area.  Here is a run-down of the upcoming week:

Sunday – a Easter Sunday brunch at the “2 Seven 2” restaurant/bar/grill in Covington from 10 am  until 1 pm.

Wednesday – at Jay Berry’s in the Renton Highlands 7-10 pm

Friday Night – Pizzeria Pulcinella’s in South Seattle 9-11 PM

Saturday Night – the 909 Coffee Wine Bistro in Burien

and MOST IMPORTANT of all Sunday Mass at 5:30 pm at St. Stephen the Martyr Church in Renton. Hope o see you at one of these events, especially the Holy Mass!

For those of you who have not made it down to Pizzeria Pulcinella’s I will be playing there every Friday night until I find out otherwise. Please come and check this place out. It is just a super cozy little place with the most amazing pizza you have ever eaten. Friendly staff and owners will make sure you enjoy yourself. take a look at the link below and see for yourself.

I am not sure what my schedule will be for playing at the Uncorked Wine Bar will be as it is possibly trading hands. The new owner/s may want to continue employing me on alternating Saturday nights and I will definitely let you know if I am. I hope it continues because it is a really, really, cool place to play.  Whether or not I am performing there I urge you to make the trip up to Snoqualmie Ridge and enjoy the great food and atmosphere of this wonderful restaurant.
